Happy Chinese New Year!

We had our usual hotpot for new years eve and the next day with all the usual fixin's, so no photos... On the second day of the new year, we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon on the HK Trail with the Siew and Williams families - walking from Middle Gap to Blacks Link, the same route as one of Alex's cross country races. After that, we went back to the Williams' for dinner and a lovely view of the fireworks over Victoria Harbour.

The weather was nice throughout the week and our family went biking and walking a few times.

We had a BBQ with other friends at the end of the week-long holiday. All these collages were made with apps on my phone for posting on FB, but I thought I'd share here, too!

Hi Becky! Thanks for reading our blog (: The grassy area is called Sham Chung and it is on the way to Sai Kung, down a one lane road then a 3k hike. Or you can get there by ferry from University. It would be such a fun place to bring a group of ICS kids. I guess it was supposed to be a golf course, but that never happened.
